NEW Disney Villains Fall Makeup Collection🌙

Walgreens has just released another Disney collection, this time it’s the villains of our favorite classic Disney movies. Like the Dare to Dream Disney Princess collection (which I have a post on here) this Villains collection is from Markwins, the company that produces Wet n Wild. While the princess collections are classic and pretty, I think the villains are cool looking and just more fun.

🌑The villains featured are Ursula, Maleficent, and The Evil Queen. There is a beauty book for each and then a couple of different makeup items. Judging from the last collection, the quality is really good. I actually like this unamed Markwins Disney collections more than the E.l.f ones. I feel like the packaging of these collections have much more thought put into them and are just so beautiful. Here’s what I purchased & pics of the rest of the collection below!

Maleficent lipstick ‘Dragon’s Lair’. The formula of this lipstick is amazing! It’s rich, creamy, and matte and the color is a beautiful reddish brown shade…I want to buy a backup!

I also purchased this Ursula Leviathan Shimmering Powder. I initially thought this was a pigment and it actually works quite well that way, all you need is water. It is shimmery with diff. colored glitters and wet is a pearly white.

I only purchased one beauty book which was the Evil Queen one. It has neutral and purple toned eyeshadows, an eyeliner, brush, pink gloss, and gold shadow stick. I will get into more details on this palette when I do a look with it in an upcoming post!

🌙Rest of collection

🌑 Beauty Books ($9.99 each)

🌑Lipsticks ($3.49)- all matte, 2 red shades, and a brown shade.

🌑Ursula Wicked Shadow palette ($5.99)

🌑 Vixon’s Kiss Lip Color set ($5.99)/ Perfectly Arched Evil Eyebrow kit ($5.99)/ Spellbound Sculpting Contour palette ($5.99)/ Jealous Blush ($3.49)/ Leviathan Shimmering Powder ($3.49)

🌙 I’m loving the wide assortment of products that this collection has. I love the details in the packaging and the palettes, and that gorgeous display! Thanks for reading!

Milani Lip Intense Liquid Color | Review & Swatches

So on a recent trip to Dollar Tree, I found the whole Lip Intense collection from Milani that I had always wanted to try, but never did. Being orig. priced at $6.49, I didn’t want to buy it and end up regretting it. I believe these came out last year and there are only 4 shades in the line.

01 Red Extreme, 02 Pink Rave, 03 Fiery Coral, 04 Violet Addict

Website description: Weightless, bold colour –si, you really can have it all. This high-drama dazzler is infused with pure pigments, yet feels utterly light and airy.

Packaging: This comes in a lightweight plastic tube with their signature gold packaging. It’s actually a pretty small tube and so perfect to throw in a purse.

Application: The consistency is very creamy, smooth and pretty thick. It reminds me of the Nyx Soft Matte Lip Creams, never fully drying, yet matte in color-perfect for people who want that look without the drying of the lips. I found that when I apply these, then blot once, it takes away the slight shininess these have and some of the thickness, which makes it more comfortable to wear.

Same order as top left-right

Colors & Wear Time: The colors are all very intense with the most being 03 Fiery Coral being more of a highlighter bright pink (way brighter than the pic above). Actually the must subtle of them all is 04 Violet Addiction being more of a pretty orchid color. These will transfer a bit, but do leave a stain behind that lasted through eating and drinking.

🌹Overall these are a great alternative to the extremely drying matte lipsticks out there. All this line needs is some mauve-y and brown colors. Is it worth it? For me, I don’t really mind the dry matte lipsticks, but if you want something more creamier these will be great for you.

NEW Tarte ‘Light Of The Party’ Holiday Palette | Review & Swatches⭐️

Tarte Light of the Party palette (Sephora exclusive, $59 -Limited Edition)

This is the new holiday 2015 palette for Tarte Cosmetics exclusively sold at Sephora. It comes complete with 30 Amazonian Clay eyeshadows, a blush, bronzer, highlighter, a deluxe-sized Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara, and a dual-ended brush.

The Case: The case is a pretty weighted gold and black case with pink detailing on the inside. There is a tribal sequined design on the front and from what I’ve seen from other peoples’palettes, each design on the front is a little different. It’s definitely a glam and glitzy case, and although it’s a bit thick, it’s not as big as it looks in pics.

The Takeaway Palette: This is a thin yellow and gold palette to take on the go. Behind it is a large mirror built into the case. This palette has a matte cool-toned bronzer in ‘Social Butterfly’, a cool muted pink blush in ‘Amazed’, an icy pink-white highlighter in ‘Pink Champaigne’, and 6 rosy and purple toned eyeshadows all in the Amazonian clay formula.

The 24-shadow palette: This is a beautiful neutral range of matte/metallic/shimmer shadows. There are a couple of warm toned shades, but I feel this is mostly a cool-toned palette. They all have cute Christmas-y names and there are so many possible looks that can be done! The shadows are very buttery, smooth, and blend on the eyelid very well.

▫️The swatches below are of each row going down. I think they correspond really well to complete an eye look, whether intentional or not, this can help with some ideas for eye looks.

Row 1: Sugar Cookie, a satin cream/Miracle of Light, a metallic gold/Under the  Mistle-Taupe, a shimmery gold brown/Sleigh Watch, a matte dark grey

Row 2: In a Flurry, a lighter shimmery cream/Rum Pum Plum, a matte light pink plum/Ringa Ling, a metallic rose gold/Mulled Wine, a matte deep purple.

Row 3: Fizz the Season, a shimmery champaigne/Tartetini, a matte muted pink/Fireside Chat, a metallic rose gold brown/ Cocoa What Fun, a mate brown

Row 4: It’s Snow Time, a shimmery off white/Baby It’s Gold Outside, a metallic gold/Party Favored, a matte grey taupe/Black Velvet,  a matte black

Row 5: Eggnog, a matte cream yellow/Peach on Earth, a matte peach/Gingerbread Mansion, a metallic brown/Haute Chocolate, a matte dark brown
Row 6: What A Wonderful Pearl, a matte white/Come What Grey, a matte grey/Chrome for the Holidays, a metallic silver/Midnight Kiss, a matte  navy

I would really recommend this palette especially if like me, you haven’t tried much from this brand.  Thanks for reading❤️

Quick Eye Looks|Wet n Wild Fall palettes

Wet n Wild’s “Here’s to the Wild Ones!” Fall collection recently came out with four 5-pan eyeshadow palettes full with a mix of light/dark, metallic/shimmery colors. I have a full post on the collection here! I purchased two palettes Girls Just Wanna Have Funds, a mix of greens and browns and Don’t Be A Poser, a mix of dark, colorful, and glittery colors. Here are the two looks I came up with these palettes.

▪️Girls Just Wanna Have Funds
 1. Lid: light green ‘base’ color

2. Crease: light brown ‘crease’ color

3. Outer V: brown/green ‘definer’ color

4. Waterline: dark green ‘eyelid’ color

5. Inner corner: cream ‘browbone’ color

▪️Don’t Be A Poser

 1. Upper Crease: a matte muted brown (not from palette)

2. Crease: maroon ‘base’ color

3. Lid: blue ‘lid’ color

4. Waterline: purple ‘browbone’ color

I used NYX Jumbo Pencil ‘Milk’ for an eyebase and used some colors wet for the Don’t be a Poser palette I’m really happy with how the looks came out and as usual I love the quality of Wet n Wild eyeshadows. Also, if your store ran out of this display quickly as they usually do, I seem to always find the Wet n Wild limited collections at Kmart weeks after its gone from Walgreens! I don’t know if that’s the case at every Kmart but it wouldn’t hurt to try!

Ipsy September ‘Face Fashion’| Subscription Box Review

Ipsy time! This month’s theme is Face Fashion and is all about glitz and glam and fashion forward beauty. The bag is a gilded gold color with a unique pattern. It is also slightly longer than past glam bags.

✨Octavio Aciete de Argon (1 oz./30 mL; $29.50 for full size)

This is described as a deep penetrating French Argan oil that produces silky smooth results and shine. When I use this it instantly made my hair softer. The oil is pretty thick but didn’t leave a greasy or sticky residue on my hands which is always a plus.

✨Elizabeth Mott Queen of the Fill brow gel (.14 oz/4 g $20)

This is a tinted, buildable brow gel and comes in two shades ‘light’ and ‘dark’. I love the packaging and name of this product, a lot of Elizabeth Mott products have cute names like this. The bristle is very small and the gel dries pretty quickly-It actually reminds me of the Nyx brow gel. I really like how my eyebrows turned out with this.

✨City Color City Chick lipstick ‘Je t’aime’ (.106 oz/3.0 g $4.99)

This lipstick is described as a “long-lasting color with luscious shine”. It comes in 30 shades and reminds me of the Rimmel Moisture Renew lipsticks. It is moisturizing yet opaque and kind of has a strong fruity smell. ‘Je t’aime’ is a pretty pink/peachy color that would suit many people.

✨First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream (1.0 oz/28.3 g $30, for full size)
This cream is for intense hydration and for dry, parched skin. This is made with no parabens or harsh chemicals and is safe for sensitive skin. Because it is a thicker formula and I have more combo skin, I’ll probably use this as a night cream. I have so far loved all First Aid Beauty products I’ve received.

✨Ipsy Nyx trio palette (0.03 oz)

This is a Nyx palette exclusively made for Ipsters. This trio comes in a cute black case with a bow clasp. There is a champagne color, a brown-gold color, and a dark gray almost black color. This trio has just the perfect color to create a day-to-night look. The shadows are pigmented, and easy to blend.

So that is it for my bag this month! I’m happy with everything I received and I loved the bag! It’d be cool if we could receive an extra item on our birthday month am I right? In other news, I just ordered the new Tarte Light of the Party palette from their Holiday collection and can’t wait to share it with you all!
