Gallany Cosmetics Lipstick ‘Bordeaux’|Review & Swatches

IMG_5190.JPGI received this from Ipsy when I redeemed my Ipsypoints. I’ve never heard of this brand but I LOVE lipsticks so I gave it a try. According to the website it is a fairly new brand which carries only lipsticks for now by chemist Ida Gal. There are 5 different collections (Bright, Classic, Deep, Nude, Punk) in all the same packaging and each $21.50.
Description of lipsticks on website:

A luxurious lipstick that is infused with Hungarian Lilac Extract, Edelweiss, and Hyaluronic Acid for intense hydration as well as lavender wax to help repair and smooth lips. In addition, this lipstick delivers super saturated color that will truly make a statement.

The Product: First off, I love the packaging, it is so unique and different looking. What I also noticed and loved is that the tube itself is quite heavy so it just feels luxurious as well. ‘Bordeaux’ is sort of a rusty red-brown, kind of like the perfect marsala color that looks very complimentary and sophisticated. Very difficult to capture the color in the pictures!

Application: This is extremely creamy and sort of thick feeling when applied. As their description says, it is very saturated and pigmented. It will also last awhile and stayed pretty much put through eating and drinking.

👄So, no surprise, I loved this lipstick. It is creamy, pigmented, comfortable to wear, and a very flattering marsala color. I know it’s quite pricey for most of us, but I’d love to try out their other colors because it’s such a great quality lipstick!

Thanks for reading! Michelle
