Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick Duo|Review & Swatches

Bite Beauty is a brand sold at Sephora that creates natural lip products that are literally “good enough to eat”, hence the name. I’ve been interested in trying this brand out for awhile when I found these with all the other tempting deluxe sized products they sell near the checkout section. I purchased the duo in Fig/Date.
According to the website it also contains ‘Resveratol the equivalent of two glasses of red wine, reducing fine lines and wrinkles on and around the lip area over time’.

The Product: This duo was $12 and each side contains 0.05 oz. of product. It comes in a dark gray, rubberized tube and has a certain scent but is not overpowering. ‘Date’ is sort of nude/brown color and ‘Fig’ is a nude/pink, both are very flattering neutral colors. And when you combine them as recommend, it creates this really pretty nude color.

(from top-bottom Fig, Date, both combined
Application: It goes on very creamy and smooth and with even just one swipe, is very opaque. It’s also very moisturizing and is just very comfortable lipstick to wear. It has a very slight shine when first applied but dries and turns matte-looking after awhile. Another good thing is after it wears awhile it leaves a nice stain behind.

💄I’m really happy with this purchase it’s travel friendly and so far Bite Beauty seems to be like a great quality brand. I wanna try out more of their products now! Thanks for reading!

  1. Augh! I really think I need to take the leap and get some Bite in my life. Thanks for sharing the information and Bite. I knew that their products are food grade, but I didn’t know about the wine properties and its ability to reduce fine lines over time! Very interesting.
