Influenster- VowVoxBox

20140628-105623-39383359.jpgSo what is Influenster you may ask?….It is a review site where the members or “influensters” can review from a vast amount of categories, such as health and beauty, fitness, household items, stores/restaurants, etc.
If you are and active influenster, by writing reviews and linking your social media like your Instagram, YouTube, or blog this improves your chances of receiving free vox boxes. They essentially want you to spread the word of these different items, review it, make a video, and influence others to try it. Which is fine by me if the item is awesome. The Vow Vox Box had some amazing products

Eco Tools Pure Complexion Facial Sponge

20140628-111530-40530278.jpgThis is a facial sponge which hardens when dry and gets extremely soft when wet. It is very gentle and will not be too harsh on your skin or leave redness like other sponges. My skin feels like it has a deep cleansing when using this (but not drying). All your makeup is for sure to be removed!

Tide To Go Pen

A quick and easy stain remover that can conveniently fit in your purse.

Pure Silk “Raspberry Mist” moisturizing shave cream with aloe

I never use shave cream, just water, but when I used this it was a lot easier to glide the shaver and I felt like I got a closer shave with this.

Sally Hansen nail polish ‘Barracuda’

This color is a beautiful and vibrant baby blue. The brush is wide and picks up a lot of product. Two coats is just enough for an opaque look

(Color is sort of washed out in pic, but it is a bright baby blue!)

Olay Regenerist Luminous tone perfecting cream

This moisturizer….idk what to say! First off, it smells amazing, it also extremely soft and feels lightweight yet moisturizing on the skin. There is no greasiness left behind at all and I recommend this for all skin types. It also just feels different from any other moisturizer I’ve used if that makes sense, I just love it.

* This isn’t a subscription service* You have to be an active influenster, and I’m not sure how often boxes are sent out, but you don’t recieve all of them either. There was recently a Mary Kay themed box, a Victoria Secret themed box, one called surfsupvoxbox, etc. but it is fun to try out and discover new products, so go on and become a part of influenster!
I’ve recieved two other boxes in the past (more details on my instagram):

My Milani Lips💋

I’m always on the hunt for a good lipstick so I just wanted to share one of my favorite lipstick brands, Milani, and all of their lipsticks I own..(which is 7, not much but I’m getting there!)
These are the Milani Color Statement Lipsticks ($5.49 on

💄Just a quick overview : these are highly pigmented and long lasting, there is a vast variety of colors to choose from, and come in matte, vinyl, metallic, creamy, shimmer, and pearl finishes but they all apply very easily and feel moisturizing on the lips.

And who doesn’t love that gold packaging!

20140624-162429-59069346.jpg (same order L. to R. as top)

20140624-164702-60422451.jpg (swatches on lips, natural daylight lighting, pictures don’t do the colors justice, but come very close!)

~26. Nude Creme: this is a cream finish, a perfect pinky-nude color, applies very creamy and will look great paired with an intense eye look.

~17. Plumrose: this is a cream finish, a sort of dark pink/mauve color, for me it’s a “my lips but better” color and just looks so great on medium-tan skin!

~01. Sweet Nectar: this is a cream finish, a bright (but wearable) orange, and for me sort of becomes a little matte as you wear it.

~05. Red Label: this is a cream finish, just the most perfect marilyn red, very bright but beautiful I think this color would look good on everyone.

~34. Violet Volt: this is a metallic finish, a multi-dimensional purple, a very fun color.

~21. Sangria: this is a matte finish, a dark plum/purple, although it is a matte it is not drying at all and very moisturizing.

~22. Chilled Brandy: this is a shimmer finish, a dark plum/ wine color, although the website describes it as shimmer, to me it looks more metallic on the lips and is definitely different but still very pretty.

✨Final thoughts: So that is my Color Statement collection, I’ve had these for awhile and am very happy with them. Highly recommend you all try, and let me know in the comments which are your favorites!

Ipsy June 2014 “Pretty in Paradise”

Ipsy is a beauty subscription service ($10 a month), you recieve 4-5 full size /deluxe size samples, in a different makeup bag each month❤️

Here’s what I got in my bag!

Be A Bombshell Lash Out mascara ($15)

This mascara comes in a matte black tube with a domed applicator. It leaves your lashes lengthened and doesn’t clump up your lashes. There’s been a lot of drama about the smell, and while it is kind of strong… What mascara actually smells good? Btw,Be a Bombshell stated on their instagram that it is safe to use. So while not a holy grail for me, it is still a decent mascara.

▫️NYX Butter Gloss in “Creme Brûlée” ($5)

I almost never buy lip gloss so I was a little meh about this at first, but I actually love it. It’s a sheer pink-nude color and smells like cupcakes! It’s also not sticky at all.

▫️Marc Anthony Dream Waves beach spray (deluxe sample):

This is actually a huge amount of product! It smells really good also, like coconut and going to the beach! It left my hair with soft, tousled waves, and didn’t dry frizzy.

▫️Ofra Eyebrow Pencil in “Universal” ($13)

This is in a dark brown universal color that I think will be great on many people ( I’ll do an eyebrow tutorial with this in the future!).

▫️Real Tree perfume (sample size)

I don’t really know how to describe a perfume smell–but it is sort of soft and floral and comes in a cute travel friendly pink tube.
As you can see what we got was well worth more than $10 and so many great products to try out! Stay tuned belles for more beauty posts!💜
